Talk KOA 850 AM And KHOW 630 AM Change Schedules To Keep Limbaugh/Hannity Shows Live
I just heard Mike Rosen announce starting, I think he said January 6th, his show will move to 1pm and Rush Limbaugh will take his time slot. Since Limbaugh does his show live from 10-1, I'm not sure what KOA is planning on doing from 9-10. He also said there would be some changes on KHOW including changing the time of Sean Hannity's show. He mentioned Clear Channel has issued a press release to the media however I could not find it doing a Google search.

More info on this according to Mike Rosen: Clear Channel made the decision to have Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity be live instead of on a tape delay. So this will affect the line up on both KOA and KHOW. Effective January 6th, the new schedule is as follows:
KOA:
Colorado Morning News 5-10am
Rush Limbaugh 10am-1pm
Mike Rosen 1pm-3pm (his show is being shortened to 2 hours).
Dave Logan and the rest of the evening schedule is unchanged.
KHOW:
Mandy Connell's show will go until 10am
Tom Martino 10am-1pm
Sean Hannity 1pm-4pm
Micheal Brown 4pm-7pm
Glenn Beck 7pm-10pm

KOA and KHOW Radio shuffle program lineups for 2014
From The Denver Post:
Sean Hannity, Premiere Radio Networks
Big changes are in the air for KOA and KHOW Radio in the new year, including earlier, live Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh shows.
Listeners will also hear later and less Michael Brown, more “Colorado Morning News,” and Mike Rosen gets to sleep in, as he’s moved to afternoons. Premiere Radio Networks, a division of Clear Channel that syndicates the national talk shows, is requiring stations nationally to carry Limbaugh and Hannity live, leading to the overhauls.
The new KOA schedule extends the morning show with Steffan Tubbs and April Zesbaugh an hour, 5 a.m.-10 a.m. effective Jan. 6. Rush Limbaugh follows, live, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., with Mike Rosen moved to afternoons, from 1-3 p.m.
The KHOW lineup features “The Sean Hannity Show” live from 1-4 p.m. Morning host Mandy Connell has the 5-10 a.m. block; Tom Martino is pushed back an hour to 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; Michael Brown gets an hour less talk time, airing 4-7 p.m.; and Glenn Beck takes Hannity’s former slot 7 p.m.-10 p.m.
Greg Foster, VP of programming, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Denver and program director of KOA, said, “it’s an opportunity to have a lot of programing live throughout the day.”

More Grim News for El Rushbo

With his ratings tanking, the drug-addled, self-pitying has-been is shuffled to take the stronger rating period of Mike Rosen in a last ditch effort by Clear Channel to recoup some of those hefty talent dollars they frittered away some years ago in their contract with Rush and Hannity and others.
It's all over now. His 18-34 demographic is non-existent. Norman Goldman is doing better on 760 AM.
I guess he shouldn't have called that woman a slut.
