Libby Nolan Rises To iHeartMedia St. Louis Market President
From Radio Insight:
iHeartMedia has announced the appointment of Libby Nolan as its new St. Louis Market President.
Nolan has served as cluster SVP/Sales since August 2021. She began her career as morning show producer for 93.7 KSD-FM in 1990 and later served as Promotions Director at 105.7 KPNT and Marketing Director for 90.7 KWMU before leaving radio to work for multiple marketing firms including her own from 1999 to 2009. After a brief stint at CBS Radio St. Louis, Nolan spent nine years at Emmis and later Entercom St. Louis following Entercom?s purchase of half of Emmis? properties in the market where she rose to General Sales Manager. She then spent a little over a year as Market President of Townsquare Media Quincy IL/Hannibal MO and seven months as General Manager of Zimmer Communications Springfield MO prior to joining iHeartMedia.
She will report to iHeartMedia Division President John Karpinski filling the opening created by John Beck’s departure last month.
Karpinski said, “Libby?s exceptional leadership, extensive industry knowledge and passion for innovation have driven tremendous local growth across both our radio and digital offerings. With experience spanning nearly every role in a radio station, she is uniquely positioned to lead from a place of deep understanding and drive continued success.”
Nolan commented, “I?m honored to lead iHeartMedia St. Louis and work with such a passionate and talented team. Being entrusted with the opportunity to lead these iconic stations to its full potential is a gift. People are the heart of everything we do, and together, we will build on this legacy and continue shaping the future of radio in St. Louis.”
