Providence To Get Juiced With Hip Hop/R&B

Following the demise of Cumulus Media Rhythmic CHR “Hot 106.3” WWKX at the end of October, Michael ‘DJ Rukiz’ Costa’s The Juice Broadcasting Network LLC has begun operating Diaz Holdings’ 93.7 W229AN Providence and Audacy’s 103.7 WVEI-HD2 Westerly RI and will launch “The Juice 93.7” on Saturday, February 1.
The station is currently stunting with Rhythmic Gold and teasing the new format. Costa was previously a DJ on the Sunday Urban programming on 95.5 WBRU Providence. He also operated “The Juice” brand as a pirate on 89.9 in Providence that received a Notice of Unlicensed Operation from the FCC in July 2018.
