No empirical data to support this assumption, just a hunch based on this pending application: https://licensing.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws.exe/prod/cdbs/forms/prod/cdbsmenu.hts?context=25&appn=101735023&formid=349&fac_num=148097

KCEG 760 Fountain is moving in K234CA from Meeker CO (near Craig) to Colorado Springs. In turn, it will change frequency from 94.7 to 105.1.

While on paper there isn't any prohibited overlap between a 105.1 Springs translator and first adjacent KRYE 104.9 Rye (El Tigré)
there will be plenty of real world interference based on what really matters, Longley-Rice projections.

Remember the tussle between 103.3 Walsenburg/Pueblo and WAY-FM's (I think) translator on 103.1 in the Springs? Expect another one here.

There is another first adjacent channel translator applying to move into Colorado Springs. K296AL Crested Butte has applied to move to Colorado Springs on 101.1 to repeat KZNT 1460. This would put it one channel away from KFEZ 101.3.
