Kelly Ford, formerly of KYGO
CBS4 will launch an occasional, fully sponsored arts show, “Colorado Review: Music and the Arts,” at 6 p.m. on Feb. 9. The half-hour magazine style show about local artists and musicians will be sponsored by Mountain States Toyota, in partnership with the Colorado Symphony (already a Channel 4 partner).
The first installment features the Denver Art Museum, Redline Gallery and by the Colorado Symphony. Former KYGO radio personality Kelly Ford will serve as host. (Ford signed off KYGO in August after 20 years on the air.)
KCNC creative director Ed Cushing is at the helm. There’s no fixed timeslot for now. Airings will be scattered but always on weekends, the first one in place of “Colorado Getaways.” The second is slated for April 14 at 10:30 a.m. The goal is to emulate “CBS Sunday Morning” on a local level.
