There are several good reasons to check out KBCO’s Studio C Volume 24, on sale this weekend and available as a giveaway to listeners around the clock and via social media. There’s the under-produced version of Mayer Hawthorne’s “The Walk” (in which he laments “your crummy freakin’ attitude*,” cleaned up for the radio audience). Plus The Lumineers doing “Ho Hey,” Mumford & Sons on “I Will Wait” and 16 other new, live, in-studio recordings.
The best reason to pick it up, as always, is the fact that proceeds from sale of the CD ($13 or so) will benefit the Boulder County AIDS Project and Food Bank of the Rockies. More info and the track listing is available at the KBCO website (http://www.kbco.com/pages/studioc-vol24.html#ixzz2DRXupTVR).
