James Durkee (http://blogs.denverpost.com/ostrow/tag/james-durkee/)says, "I am happy to announce "Sunday at the Memories with Ray Durkee" will be returning to the air in Denver for an encore performance starting May 3 on Cruisin' 950." The oldies radio show was a ratings hit in the 1970s.

James Durkee, the son of Ray Durkee and himself a Denver radio voice (overnights in the 1980s-early ’90s on KBPI), has been working to transfer his father’s vintage tapes to a digital format. Now, “with their sports schedule free”, he says, the oldies station is putting the show back on the air, Sundays 4-7 p.m.
KRWZ 950 AM could be just the start. Durkee has said he’d like to syndicate the digitized program from the 1970s eventually.
