The former KCMN 1530 went silent last week. The station had changed its call sign to KKHI last month and was sold to Loveland-based Kona Coast Radio last December. A "Remain Silent Authority" was accepted for filing with the FCC today.

KONA COAST RADIO, LLC HAS RECENTLY ACQUIRED THE STATION AND IS RELOCATING THE KKHI MAIN STUDIO TO A NEW FACILITY THE LICENSEE CURRENTLY OWNS. THIS RELOCATION MAY TAKE A FEW MONTHS TO COMPLETE, BUT KKHI WILL RESUME NORMAL BROADCAST AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
