iHEARTMEDIA AC KKLI (K-LITE 106.3)/COLORADO SPRINGS has morphed into SUNNY 106.3. SUNNY 106.3 is playing CHRISTMAS Music now through CHRISTMAS DAY.
After CHRISTMAS, SUNNY 106.3 will play AC music "from the 80s to now," featuring artists like MAROON 5, KELLY CLARKSON, MICHAEL JACKSON, P!NK, MADONNA, ADELE, BRUNO MARS and PRINCE. The SUNNY 106.3 on-air talent lineup will feature longtime local hosts CAPTAIN DAN and TAMMY OAKLAND in the morning.
“SOUTHERN COLORADOANS enjoy more than 300 sunny days each year. The new name of the station is designed to match the feel of the music -- bright and warm,” said OM PAUL KELLEY. “We are excited to continue the CHRISTMAS Music tradition through the holidays, and to continue to be SOUTHERN COLORADO’s workday station of choice after CHRISTMAS.”

iHeartMedia AC “106.3 K-Lite” KKLI Widefield/Colorado Springs has dropped the Lite moniker after 26 years. As it makes its annual transition to Christmas Music, KKLI has adopted a new “Sunny 106.3” brand. After the holiday season, the station will return to its AC format with the new branding. No changes to the airstaff with the rebranding as Captain Dan and Tammy Oakland remain in mornings and OM Paul Kelley stays in afternoons.
