WAY Media's Christian CHR WAY-FM taps Rob Wagman as its new Network Program Diretor, effective August 4. He previously handled afternoons at Salem's Christian CHR KFSH-FM (95.9 The Fish)/Los Angeles. Wagman was also WNOW-FM (92.3 Now) New York's Assistant PD until November, 2012. Before that he programmed Rhythmic CHR WIBT-FM/Charlotte.
"I am very excited to have Rob on our team," said WAY Media VP/Content Faron Dice. "His experience, programming knowledge, and passion are exactly what we have been looking for to take the reins and lead our very talented and passionate programming team."
Wagman added, "When you're shopping and you try on that shirt, then you look in the mirror to see that it fits as if it were tailor-made for you. This is how it feels to be joining WAY-FM, based in Nashville, in the role of Network PD."
Wagman's previous programming stints include WEZB-FM (B97)/New Orleans, WFBC-FM/Greenville-Spartanburg and WNTQ-FM/Syracuse.
