Aristea Brady, Colorado native and former weekend morning anchor at KUSA, will return to Denver from WCCO-TV in Minneapolis to serve as anchor/reporter at KDVR-KWGN. She has been an anchor at the CBS-owned station in Minneapolis for two and a half years.
She will initially co-anchor the 10 p.m. newscast on Fox31 with Boris Sanchez and report for other newscasts. Later, she will move to the 9 p.m. newscast, serving as fill-in anchor when Deborah Takahara goes on maternity leave in early June.
Brady starts Wednesday but her first day on the air is will be May 5, KDVR-KWGN news director Ed Kosowski said. “We would look at her as a fill-in on the 5 and 9 p.m.” newscasts, when Takahara takes leave.
