Denver Mayor Michael Hancock will be on Katie Couric’s syndicated chat show Monday, to talk about the city and pot. “Katie” (http://katiecouric.com/) airs locally at 3 p.m. on KMGH Channel 7.
The pretaped segment — with the leading title, “Are We Becoming a Marijuana Nation?”– includes an interview with Hancock via satellite from Denver. The show features a tour of a Denver retail marijuana store, tips on talking to kids about drugs from Denver psychologist Sheryl Ziegler, and an update from CNN’s senior analyst Jeffrey Toobin.
