Sunday’s Denver Broncos victory was a huge TV ratings winner for KUSA, scoring the highest local primetime rating in 27 years for the Broncos in Denver. Locally, the telecast scored a 52.0 rating and 75 share (or percent of the viewing audience).
The Sunday Night Football telecast of the Broncos’ triumph over the Chiefs scored a whopping 16.6 overnight rating and 27 share nationally– the best primetime overnight for a November game in 17 years. According to NBC Sports, it also marked a 36 percent increase over last season’s Week 11 SNF game (12.2 for Baltimore-Pittsburgh).
Sunday’s game scored the sixth-highest Sunday NFL overnight ratings in NBC primetime history, finishing second so far this season behind Peyton Manning’s return to Indianapolis.
