Terry Story’s Golden Media Group has filed its deal to purchase Grace Broadcasting Services? 101.5 WNWS-FM Jackson TN. Golden Media Group, which began operating (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/293218/wnws-fm-wbfg-unite/) WNWS-FM in January as a simulcast of ?Talk-N West Tennessee (https://talknwesttn.com)? 96.5 WBFG Parkers Crossroads and 1310 WDXI Jackson/103.5 W278CL Savannah TN, will pay $800,000 for the station.
Murfin Inc’s My Town Media is purchasing Variety Hits “107.5 Bob-FM (https://mytown-media.com/stations/107-5-bob-fm/)” 1550 KRZD Springfield MO, Sports “ESPN 100.7 (https://espn1007.com)” KSHQ Deerfield MO, and Classic Country “95.3 The Cowboy (https://mytown-media.com/stations/kwkn-the-cowboy-95-3/)” KWKN Wakeeney KS from William Wachter’s One Media for $275,000. My Town Media has been operating the stations for years.
Forever Media continues its slow sell-off as Ohio Midland Newsgroup purchases 1490 WOHI/103.9 W280FL East Liverpool and 94.9 W235BX Toronto OH for $50,000. W235BX rebroadcasts the buyer’s 1430 WEIR Weirton WV, while WOHI/W280FL currently simulcasts Forever Classic Hits “Pickle 92.1 (https://www.foreverpittsburgh.com/pickle92-1/)” WKPL Ellwood City PA. Ohio Midland Newsgroup owns six stations and two translators in the panhandle of West Virginia and adjacent portions of eastern Ohio.
The Kentucky Mountain Holiness Association will purchase Christian 1110 WCBR/93.7 W229CP Richmond KY from WCBR Inc. for $125,000. An LMA took effect on December 31, 2024.
Pacific Empire Radio Corporation sells “Supertalk” 1490 KBKR Baker and 1450 KLBM La Grande OR to Thomas Hodgins’ Alexandra Communications for $5,000. Translator SalesWalla Walla University sells Silent 105.5 K288FO Union OR to Elkhorn Media Group for $10,000. K288FO will be utilized to rebroadcast the buyer’s News/Talk 103.1 KVBL (http://www.myeasternoregon.com) Union.
