The stations, which had retained their former Univision brands since the closing of LMN’s acquisition (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/227505/latino-media-network-to-acquire-univision-radio-properties-in-ten-markets/) in 2022, have now taken on new identities.
In Las Vegas, Regional Mexican “Zona MX 103.5” KISF has rebranded as “La Tremenda 103.5“. Its rebranding follows the only station of Latino Media Network to previously drop its former indentity following the sale where Spanish CHR ?Latino Mix 99.3? KRGT Sunrise Manor became “Latino Beats” on January 1, 2024 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/262405/new-vibes-coming-for-latino-mix-las-vegas/).
Fresno sees three rebrands. Spanish AC ?Amor 92.1? KRDA Clovis is now “92.1 Enamorada“, Spanish Classic Hits ?107.5 La Jefa? KOND Hanford changes to “La Explosiva 107.5“, and Regional Mexican ?107.9 Zona MX? KLLE North Fork has rebranded as “La Picosa 107.9“.

In the Rio Grande Valley, Spanish Classic Hits ?Recuerdo 96.1? KBTQ Harlingen is now branding as “La Exitosa 96.1“, and Regional Mexican ?La Jefa 98.5? KGBT-FM McAllen has changed to “La Preferida 98.5“.

The only FM of the company not showing new branding is Regional Mexican “Zona MX 99.1” KFZO Denton, which was running just music without any imaging when sampled this morning. KFZO was transferred to a separate Latino Media Holdings II earlier this year to prevent any ownership cap overlaps due to Lakestar Finance’s stake in Audacy (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/266170/audacy-files-with-fcc-to-move-stations-out-of-bankruptcy-protection-places-one-in-divestiture-trust/) as part of its bankruptcy restructuring.
