KVRR-TV reports (https://www.kvrr.com/2024/12/05/former-fargo-radio-personality-charged-with-possession-of-child-sexual-abuse-material/) Chartier was arrested after an investigation found he had been uploading videos of children between the ages of 3 and 16 engaging in sexual activity with other children and being sexually abused by adults.
All references to Merritt have been purged from KVOX-FM’s website, while a story published (https://froggyweb.com/2024/12/05/fargo-man-charged-with-possessing-child-sex-abuse-material/) by the company’s KFGO failed to even mention his connection with the company. Merritt rejoined KVOX-FM in September 2023 after previously co-hosting mornings from 2016 to 2019. He has also served as PD of Country 92.1 KRUE Waseca and AC 100.9 KOWZ Blooming Prairie MN from 2019-22 and iHeartMedia’s “Rock 101.5” KSSS Bismarck ND in 2022-23.
