Jackson and co-host Cheyenne Davis joined KMLE in December 2019 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/182397/gunner-jackson-cheyenne-davis-make-the-leap-from-yakima-to-kmle-phoenix/) from Townsquare Media Country ?92.9 The Bull? KDBL Yakima WA where they hosted mornings and he served as Brand Manager. He had a previous stint in mornings from 2011-13 as well. Jackson has also served as morning show producer for ?Kiss 106.1? KBKS Seattle, PD/Morning Host at Country ?Kissin 97.7? KYSN Wenatchee WA and ?Kick 104? KIQK Rapid City SD, and on-air at CHR ?Power 99.1? KUJ-FM Kennewick WA.
Gunner shared on the station’s social media pages, “Just wanted you to hear the news from me first. Thave stepped away from hosting the morning show on KMLE Country 107.9. I’ll cherish the memories and relationships I’ve been able to make with our great listeners in The Valley. My family and I will be forever grateful for the love, support and prayers we received from you when my daughter Taytem went through her battle with cancer. Now I’m going to focus on what’s best for my family and what is next for me in this industry that I love.”
Co-host Cheyenne Davis, who arrived from Yakima with Jackson, remains.
