Casanova has been with KONO-FM since 2000 spending time in nights and middays as well as holding Assistant Program Director duties at the station as well as Classic Country 680 KKYX (https://www.kkyx.com/) and defunct Oldies 860 KONO. The San Antonio native began his career at KDNT Denton TX and spent time in San Antonio at Country 107.5 KBUC, AC 106.7 KESI, R&B Oldies 1480 KAPE, and Oldies 860 KONO until joining Country “Y100” KCYY in 1992 where he would use the name Johnny Montego for eight years in nights and middays.
In a statement, Casanova thanked Rob Roberts, Roger Allen, RJ Curtis, Scott Huskey, Lee Woods, Gene Kelly and all the remarkable GM?s, programmers, jocks and support staff he has worked with for 42 years of unforgettable memories and success.
