Cordie joined KSTV-FM in October 2022 and also served as play-by-play voice for 6 man high school football on sister “94.3 The Ox (https://kyoxfm.com)” KYOX Comanche. He began his radio career in 2019 at LKCM Radio Group’s cluster of stations circling the Dallas/Fort Worth market under the tutelage of his mother Erin Wilde, who hosts middays at Country “92.1 Hank-FM (https://www.921hankfm.com)” KTFW-FM Glen Rose TX and afternoons at Classic Hits “95.5 K-Hits (https://www.khits955.com)” KTWF Wichita Falls, KOME-FM Tolar/Stephenville, and 106.5 KITT Meridian.
KSTV-FM Owner/General Manager/morning host Boots Elliott told Beneath The Suface News, “It?s a horrible loss. Trey had been with us for just over two years and had really settled into his position. We had basically turned over the entire on-air operation to him as he had worked hard to prove himself as being knowledgeable and capable. This is a tough time for our radio station family.?
