Silicon Valley Asian Media Group currently operates South Asian Hits “Bolly 92.3 (https://bolly923fm.com)” on the primary KSJO signal as well as digital/streaming brands Telugu “Virijallu FM (http://www.virijallu.com)” on KSJO-HD2, South Asian Podcasts “SaFire Radio (https://safireradio.com)” on KSJO-HD3, and Dance/Alternative “High-Fi Dream (https://highfidream.com)” on KSJO-HD4. The stations are among the first to utilize Radio.Cloud for live broadcasts over several hours daily. The company says following the transition they were able to downsize to a more cost-effective studio and engineering facility due to the ability to broadcast from anywhere and smaller hardware footprint.
CEO Brad Behnke commented, “We chose to migrate our four channels to Radio.Cloud transitioning out of the traditional broadcast studio/engineering facility set-up. It essentially positions our company to be able to scale quickly and efficiently providing necessary, live and locally-produced content without needing an expensive office or studio complex, with the flexibility of originating a live studio from anywhere. We envision using Radio.Cloud in each new market we enter as we continue to rapidly scale our South Asian radio group platform into 10-15 more markets across the U.S. in a short amount of time?

This complex operation takes place completely in a web browser and includes multiple live SIP calls with a call waiting feature, all driven by the Radio.Cloud live studio. With three mainly automated stations and one heavily live, KSJO is truly embracing the power of our cloud platform.?
KSJO Program Director Gregg Pirillo stated, “Radio.Cloud has redefined programming for me, and I believe it will do the same for the entire industry when they choose to take the leap. Being able to program from anywhere in the world is an advantage in and of itself, but with access to a ?Live Studio? as well, for myself and all our hosts, we are finding it to be a dream. Working step by step with the brilliant team at Radio.Cloud has allowed us to develop a system fit our specific needs, and with more capabilities than we?ve ever had. This is the future for the radio industry, and thankfully for us the future is now.?
