It marks a return to Boise radio for Mikhals, who previously spent seventeen years in mornings in the market at then Country 97.9 KQFC from 2002 to 2014 before moving to sister “Kissin 92.3” KIZN until exiting in 2019 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/180493/trio-of-departures-from-cumulus-boise/). He also spent seven years as Operations Manager at Clear Channel Monterey CA prior to his arrival in Boise. He has been focusing on voice over and event hosting in recent years.
KTHI flipped from Classic Hits (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/268317/kthi-boise-flips/) “107.1 K-Hits” to “Hank-FM” in May following similar flips at Lotus stations in Reno and Seattle.
