The move shifts the format from the rimshot Class A signal to the more centrally located AM/translator combo. The WVLZ call letters have moved to the AM signal with 106.1 taking on new WATO calls. An announcement regarding the future of 106.1 is set to be made on Friday, October 25 at 1:06pm.
WVLZ features G Networks’ Woody & Wilcox morning show based at iHeartMedia Alternative “106.5 The End (https://1065.iheart.com)” WEND Charlotte NC and Townsquare Media and Compass Media Networks’ Loudwire Nights with Chuck Armstrong in evenings.
