“The 92.5 Days of Christmas” began running on the signals on October 1 and will continue through December 31. The station is promoting that it will debut a new Spanish language format “Latino Radio Service (https://www.1570lrs.com)” in January 2025. The signals cover the northern parts of the Louisville market, specifically across the Ohio River in Southern Indiana.
WLRS had entered into a Time Brokerage Agreement with Thomas Hoyt’s Pure Radio LLC that had started in June with those signals simulcasting their Christian Preaching “Pure Radio (https://pureradio.org)” network also heard in the market on 92.3 W222CD Louisville via SummitMedia’s 106.9 WVEZ-HD2. W222CD/WVEZ-HD2 is not affected by the change at WLRS.
