Michael Dukes’ Peninsula Radio Group will acquire the five stations and nine translators of David Becker’s Peninsula Communications Inc. in Southern Alaska for $1.1 million. Included in the purchase are Conservative Talk “620 The Answer” KGTL Homer, Conservative Talk 840 KPEN Kenai, Classic Hits “99.3 K-Bay” KXBA Nikiski, Country “101.7 True Country” KPEN-FM Soldotna, and Alternative “103.5 The Wave” KWVV-FM Homer. Dukes hosts a Conservative Talk show that airs in mornings on stations in Alaska including KGTL and KPEN.

The bankruptcy trustee of D&H Broadcasting LLC sells Adult Rock “93.9 The Lake (https://krltfm.com/)” KRLT and Conservative Talk 1490 KOWL South Lake Tahoe CA to Robin Rothschild’s Rothschild Broadcasting for $275,000. The buyer has previously owned stations in Vermont and Salisbury MD.
Christie Tate’s E Radio Network continues its growth with the purchase of 99.1 KFAH Pineland TX from James Lout for $30,000. Common Frequency Inc. is acquiring four non-commercial Construction Permits. Common Frequency will acquire 90.1 Big Sur CA from Central Coast Media Education Foundation, 90.9 Santa Nella CA from Free Radio Santa Nella, 91.3 Coalinga CA from Coalinga Public Broadcast Service, and 89.1 Packwood WA from The Interest Compound for no consideration. All four signals are Class A’s.
