View Full Version : Black Radio United For The Vote Brings Ten Atlanta Stations Together

Black Radio United For The Vote (https://blackradiounited.com) will partner with the Urban League of Greater Atlanta and its affiliates. The stations will provide a full day of programming on Tuesday, September 17 “National Voter Registration Day” to “educate, inform, and inspire Atlanta?s black community to register to vote, check their current registration status and be informed about what will be on the ballot.”
Participating in the coalition are Clark Atlanta University’s Jazz 91.9 WCLK (https://wclk.org/), Audacy’s Talk 1380 WAOK (https://www.audacy.com/waok) and Hip Hop/R&B “V103 (https://www.audacy.com/v103)” WVEE, Cox Media Group Adult R&B “Kiss 104.1 (https://www.kiss104fm.com)” WALR, Core Radio Group Hip Hop “Streetz 94.5 (https://streetz945atl.com)” WWSZ, Davis Broadcasting’s “Smooth Jazz 100.1/101.1 (https://www.smoothjazzatl.com)” WJZA, and Radio One’s cluster of Gospel “Praise 102.5 (https://mypraiseatl.com)” WPZE, R&B Oldies “Classix 102.9 (https://myclassixatl.com)” W275BK, Adult R&B “Majic 107.5/97.5 (https://majicatl.com)” WAMJ/WUMJ, and Hip Hop “Hot 107.9 (https://hotspotatl.com)” WHTA.
This is the second election cycle the stations have united to participate after being brought together by former WALR Program Director Terri Avery in 2020.
