Stephens inherited the LMA of KEDG as part of its 2019 purchase of 37 stations from Mapleton Communications. It will now pay $332,000 to acquire the license and 5.48 acres of real estate hosting the tower. Some of the LMA payments will be credited towards the purchase.
KEDG will officially join a Stephens cluster in Alexandria that includes Country “LA 103.5 (https://la103.com)” KLAA-FM Tioga, Christian AC “104.3 The Bridge (https://1043thebridge.com)” KEZP Bunkie, and Classic Country “105.5 K-Buck (https://1055kbuck.com)” KBKK Ball.
