Adams and Jennifer Ross have been pulling double-duty in mornings on both stations since 2015. Adams previously spent eighteen years at Country 107.9 WIRK from 1995 until 2013 (following its 2012 move to 103.1) rising through roles including evening host, News Director, and morning host before moving to mornings on WEAT under many ownership groups
In a video announcing his departure, Adams says he received a very generous severance package, but says he “is weirdly fine and never expected to be.” Jennifer Ross says (https://www.facebook.com/850WFTL/posts/pfbid0HGScPNeC7E5iyKBc7kUwnkSz5tArjXErEUDjpXePvTRH 7GWcJf1m7Q1ygCw6f1DDl) the WFTL morning show will resume after a “vacation” on Tuesday, August 27 with the station now listing producer Stephen Deiner as co-host.
A few other off-air staffers have also exited Hubbard West Palm Beach including many members of the cluster’s digital department and longtime Production Director Mick McCabe.
