Positioning as “Reno’s Old School Station” and launching with the usual 10,000 songs commercial-free, the new format places itself between Cumulus Classic Hip Hop “95.5 The Vibe (https://www.955thevibe.com)” KNEV and Reno Media Group Classic Hits “103.7 The River (https://www.river1037.com)” KODS. The flip eliminates the Spanish Rhythmic “Kalor 105.3” brand after just over a year (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/256682/lazer-brings-kalor-to-reno/) with it receiving a 0.2 share in the Spring 2024 Nielsen Audio ratings.
