WKVX had been operating with Westwood One’s Classic Hits format ahead of River Radio Ministries’ acquisition of it and 104.5 WQKT earlier this year (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/266785/wqkt-sets-may-1-date-for-christian-flip/). The stations carried a large amount of Sports play-by-play including local high schools, College of Wooster, and all three Cleveland professional franchises. While the pro teams have been dropped by the new ownership, the organization will continue to feature the high school and College of Wooster games on WKVX and its new LocalSportsOhio.com (http://LocalSportsOhio.com) platform.
The translator ad been operating on 102.7 rebroadcasting owner Soaring Eagle Promotions’ Christian CHR “Rise FM (https://risefmohio.com)” 90.7 WVMC-FM Mansfield.
