Spaulding has been with WTMJ since 2016 rising through the ranks from news anchor and reporter to assignment editor, managing editor, and since December 2022 as Assistant Program Director. He began his career as a reporter and weekend new anchor at WJBC Bloomington IL and then spent just under four years at WSOY Decatur as a news anchor and assignment editor.
Spaulding fills the opening that has been vacant since Ryan Maguire departed to become Westwood One’s Vice President of Affiliate Sales for Sports in April 2023 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/251411/ryan-maguire-joins-westwood-one-as-vp-sports-affiliate-sales/).
