KRMX will move on Monday, July 15 to 104.9 KBHT Bellmead. KBHT has spent the past year (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/254315/kicker-replaces-star-in-waco/) as Classic Country “Kicker (https://www.listentexas.com/2021/10/18/on-the-air-at-kicker-country/)” simulcasting 1590 KEKR Mexia/99.3 K257GO Waco, where that format will remain. While being promoted as the station being heard “much further”, the move sees the Shooter brand downgrade from the Class C2 92.9 to the Class A 104.9.
The move comes as M&M Broadcasters completes its $1.35 million sale (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/262043/first-dallas-media-acquires-krmx/) of KRMX to First Dallas Media, which will add it to its Christian network based at 90.9 KCBI (https://kcbi.org) Dallas under new KZBI call letters.
