Deanna joins WJXA from Beasley Media Philadelphia where she has been serving as a weekend and fill-in host at Rock 93.3 WMMR and Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK along with sister AC “Magic 98.3” WMGQ New Brunswick NJ since the demise of AC “Mix 99.5” WJBR Wilmington DE last October (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/259550/deanna-justin-depart-wjbr-with-sale/). She co-hosted mornings at WJBR for two years after spending three years in middays and mornings at Reno Media Group CHR ?Alice 96.5? KLCA Reno NV.
Operations Manager Barbara Bridges stated, “We took our time with the search and found the perfect person to take nights to the next level. She’s the right fit for our audience and her warm upbeat delivery and talent for connecting to the target audience will be an ideal complement to our successful brand.”
Marie commented, “I’m so excited to join this legendary brand and create something new and exciting at night.”
“Real Life with Deanna” will air Sundays through Thursday from 7pm-12am taking over the slot that had been hosted by Anna Marie de la Vega and Karyce Garcia until they ended their show at the end of March. de la Vega moved to part-time with the station in semi-retirement.
