WBYG becomes the company’s third “Pure Rock” branded station joining 98.7 WYRO MacArthur/Jackson and 105.5 WXTQ Athens. The Alan Stockmeister led company acquired WBYG along with three other stations and two translators last fall (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/258622/station-sales-week-of-9-8/) from various holding companies of Edward Baker for $1.15 million as it continues to grow in southeastern Ohio and now adjacent parts of West Virginia.
