The new brand is positioning as “Good Times, Great Country” featuring a mix of music from the 1990s through now under cluster PD Mark ‘Haystack’ Wells. Longtime local personality Jake McBride has joined the station as afternoon host. McBride had been hosting afternoons at Cumulus Media’s “94.3 Nash Icon (https://www.nashfm943.com)” KAMO-FM from 2021 until departing in May. He previously spent nineteen years in afternoons and then mornings at iHeartMedia Country “Kix 104 (https://kix104.iheart.com)” 103.9 KKIX from 2002-21 and served as PD of “Rooster Country 98” KFAY-FM in 2001-02.
The moved “Red Dirt 100 (https://www.reddirtnwa.com)” will also soon be heard on 1390 KFFK Rogers/100.7 K264DA Decatur/Siloam Springs. Both AMs had been simulcasting Classic Hits 106.5 KBVA (https://www.1065kbva.com) Bella Vista.
