While very little in the way of names have gone public yet, we have been told of cuts across multiple positions including Program Directors, morning hosts, producers, and promotions.
The only name to come public so far is at News/Talk 1340 WGAU (https://www.wgauradio.com)/98.7 W254CJ Athens GA where the Oconee Enterprise reports (https://www.facebook.com/TheOENews/posts/pfbid037od5SJHhz1BkEbnUWobz9CWwuvDp27gxEVEiwTz5zY8 zMpkjxxXPtb2FXCCpEuuFl) that Tim Bryant has been let go. Bryant served as cluster News Director and host of the station’s “Classic City Today” in mornings from 6-10am as well as a reporter/anchor for sister 750 WSB (https://www.wsbradio.com)/95.5 WSBB Atlanta. Prior to joining WGAU, Bryant worked in Augusta and Bainbridge GA and Tallahassee FL.
This story will be updated with more information as it becomes available.
