The proposal found the Class B allocation was short-spaced to Champaign Multimedia Group?s 97.5 WHMS-FM Champaign by ten kilometers and this downgrade keep the allotment consistent with the minimum distance separation requirements with a site restriction 7.6 miles southeast of the city. The allotment was made available by the cancellation of Mattoon Broadcasting Company?s WLBH-FM in April 2018.
