Welsh succeeds Michael Levine, who has programmed the station since 2016 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/107652/michael-levine-adds-pd-duties-for-go-country-105-1/) and remains as Station and Sales Manager. Welsh had previously programmed Standards “Unforgettable FM” KKGO-HD3 for the company. He runs Pat Welsh Music Programming and served as SVP Of Digital Content for Pollack Media.
Owner Saul Levine told Country Aircheck (https://www.countryaircheck.com/news/06-04-2024/196816/), “He has a great background in Country radio in a more grassroots way than Michael or even myself. We are determined to regain our status as the nation’s top Country station.”
