Caro and Cruz have both been with KZBT since 1998 and have been paired together in mornings since 2001. Caro also serves as Brand Manager at the station and Hot AC “Mix 97.9 (https://mix979fm.com/)” KODM, while Cruz also hosts middays at KZBT.
No plans for either host or what the station intends place in mornings going forward have been announced. The duo stated (https://b93.net/leo-and-rebecca-say-bye/), “To all our listeners that have listened thought-out the years here in the Permian Basin, it has been an honor to wake you up every morning! You are the reason why we did this for 23 years. We will treasure every memory from this awesome ride! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for letting us serve this community and God Bless you!”
