At KEYN, the station welcomes JR Cruz as morning host replacing Dave Wilson and Barbara Baan. Cruz most recently hosted afternoons at AC “Mix 96.9” WRSA-FM Huntsville AL and previously worked in the market at Rhythmic CHR “Power 93.5” KDGS from 2001 to 2007. Wilson, who moved from afternoons (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/253158/jack-oliver-retires-from-keyn/) to mornings at KEYN last June, now moves to nights at KEYN, while also taking on middays at KFBZ.
KFBZ will continue to carry YEA Networks’ Kidd Kraddick Morning Show and adds the Bret Mega Show based in mornings at sister “Y98 (http://www.y98.com)” KYKY St. Louis for afternoons becoming the Mega show’s third market in addition to also airing in afternoons on “99.7 The Point (https://www.997thepoint.com)” KZPT Kansas City. The station rounds out its lineup changes with midday host Darrah Jewell moving to nights. The changes follow the exit of Program Director/afternoon host Casey Osburn in Audacy’s April layoffs (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/267829/layoffs-ongoing-at-audacy-today/).
