News/Talk 1040 WHO (https://whoradio.iheart.com) moved late-morning host Jeff Angelo to mornings starting today.
Angelo had been heard in the 9-11am timeslot. He previously served as an Iowa State Senator from 1997-2009. He fills the opening that had been held by Maxwell Schaeffer and Amy Sweet until their exit in early April (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/265905/maxwell-schaeffer-and-amy-sweet-exit-mornings-at-who/).
“The Murph & Andy Show” on Sports 1460 KXNO (https://kxno.iheart.com) Des Moines/106.3 KXNO-FM Ankeny IA will come to an end (https://kxno.iheart.com/featured/murph-and-andy/content/2024-06-04-487-murph-and-andy-we-have-a-big-announcement-tuesday-hour-1/) at the end of the month after a fifteen year run.
The show currently airs from 1-3pm featuring Keith Murphy and Andy Fales. The duo both also work at WHO-TV Des Moines where Fales is currently a weekend anchor after previously working mornings and Murphy is Sports Director and anchor. The duo also co-host a Sunday evening sports show on the television station.
