The new brand is being operated by local event promoter Lamonte Cunningham’s ER Entertainment. It is planning to emphasize local artists with early spotlights (https://power1041thesource.com/Blog/BlogEntry?EntryID=1) going to performers King George, Marcellus, and Sir Charles.
WMSO/W281BR had flipped from R&B/Gospel ?WAVN The Trend? to ?El Gallo 104.1? via an LMA to Steven Lara?s Gorilla Broadcasting last November (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/261036/el-gallo-arrives-in-memphis/). Gorilla also leases 107.1 KRQN Vinton/Cedar Rapids IA from Flinn and continues to operate “El Gallo” branded stations there and in multiple markets in Georgia and the Carolinas.
