Shedding its “We Play Everything” positioning for “Best of the 80s & 90s”, the move sees the station drop most of its post-2000 music to closer move it against ST Media’s “Classic Hits 101.7 (https://www.classichits1017.com)” WLDE with WWFW being more Pop/Rhythmic leaning to WLDE’s Rock lean.
WLDE was fifth in the Fort Wayne market with a 5.9 share in the Fall 2023 Nielsen Audio ratings, while WWFW was thirteenth with a 2.7.
