The duo have hosted mornings at KUBT since 2016 but outside of a stint in mornings at “Wired 96.5” WRDW-FM Philadelphia in the mid 2000s have been staples in the Honolulu market since the early 1990s. In an Instagram post (https://www.instagram.com/samandryanshow) the duo wrote, “Thank you to the entire iHeart family for all of the unforgettable memories. To those of you who have been “ride or die” with us since 1999, we’d like to extend our deepest gratitude. You’re the reason why we’ve been getting up so early all these years! It has been an honor to get to entertain Hawaii (and folks around the globe) through our show, and we have no intention of stopping. Please stay tuned here @samandryanshow (https://www.instagram.com/samandryanshow) for how you can continue your questionably addictive habit to us! Love, Sam and Ryan (Don’t be too sad. At least we’re not P.Diddy right now!)”
Former co-host Becky Mits remains in mornings at KUBT.
