Deegan will be responsible for exceeding revenue objectives by working cross-functionally with all department leads and guiding the sales team through evolving media trends reporting to Regional President Doug Abernethy. She joins Audacy from Waterloo Media where she has served as General Sales Manager for multiple stations including AAA 93.3 KGSR turned “97.1 Austin City Limits Radio” overseeing the annual Blues on the Green concerts and Variety Hits “103.5 Bob-FM” KBPA since 2005. She began her career at CBS Radio Austin as an account executive and later Local Sales Manager of Hip Hip “104.3 The Beat” KQBT before spending time at Cox Radio Houston in 2004-05.
?I am grateful for the opportunity to lead the incredibly talented sales team at Audacy in Austin under the leadership of Doug,? said Deegan. ?For the second time in my career, I am eager to learn from him and cannot wait to bring everything I?ve got to the table!?
