Carreno commented, ?As heard on the station for decades, FM means ?fine music? ? and with our refreshed music library and the addition of our on-air team, I?m delighted to present our listeners with the perfect balance of local content and song familiarity. Mike McKay has made a tremendous impact on people and communities throughout Eau Claire and the entire Chippewa Valley. His enthusiasm and commitment to delivering great local radio is exactly what I was looking for to help lead this next chapter of WCFW.?
?I had multiple offers to move but the Chippewa Valley is our home, so the chance to wake up in the Valley again is awesome!? said Mike McKay. ?Team that with being on an iconic radio signal and being part of a growing media network like Civic Media, that still believes in local radio is incredible. I couldn?t be happier!?
