In a memo from Chief Digital Officer J.D. Crowley, it was noted that “as part of our efforts to streamline, flatten, and further integrate our organization, we will not be replacing Tim’s role; his teams will instead into various teams including Product, Marketing and Programming based on their respective job functions”.
Crowley added, “Over the past two years, Tim has helped Audacy make significant strides in our digital transformation plans. Tim is a wonderful creative executive, a great friend and colleague to so many of us, and has been a strong leader of our teams. I am grateful for his many contributions to our team and the company.”
Clarke joined Audacy in March 2021 as the company’s Boston SVP/Market Manager and moved into his current role the following October (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/213833/audacy-promotes-tim-clarke-to-svp-digital-audio-content-mike-thomas-joins-as-boston-svp-market-manager/). Prior to joining Audacy, Clarke rose through the programming ranks at Cox Media Group from on-air and then Music Director at CHR 106.1 WBLI Patchogue NY to Program Director of CHRs 95.1 WAPE Jacksonville FL from 2009-2011 and ?Hot 101.5? WPOI Tampa from 2011-2013.
