In Lexington, Operations Manager Lee Reynolds says, “When we were looking for a morning show, we wanted to make sure the personalities were genuine and likeable. *After an extended search, it became clear that Broadway and Friends checked all the boxes.*It’s highly customizable ? everything is built around our music and our station?s structure. *Plus, Jerry Broadway has a winning track record, as a personality and Operations Manager/Program Director ? making it easy to communicate and achieve our goals.” The station’s previous morning show hosted by Jason Bailey and Sheila Scruggs will relocate to afternoons starting Tuesday, March 19.
KKWL continues to ramp up its lineup following its launch last September (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/258729/sale-closing-brings-christmas-music-to-medford-ahead-of-wild-launch/). OM Brian O’Connor is quoted “This show delivers the goods. They?re very funny and genuine, which is very important. You can tell through their interactions that they?re friends. It really comes across. There are a lot of shows out there that don?t project that, so I?m very happy so far. And that?s what I?ve heard from listeners, that it sounds like a group of friends hanging out and having fun. I think this morning show really sets us apart from the other two country stations and will be absolutely integral to our growth.”
