Host Jason Bailey, co-host NickyD and producer Josh Nelson joined KRXQ as afternoon hosts (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/249645/98-rock-sacramento-launches-the-bailey-show/) in March 2023 and then moved to mornings in July following the departure (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/255800/krxq-moves-the-bailey-show-to-mornings/) of Rob, Anybody & Dawn from the station.
In a video discussing the show’s end, Bailey stated that he was “no longer at the radio station” and wished them well. He said, “There’s obviously stories, nothing really horrible,” and will be resuming the show on Monday at its former podcast feed at TheBaileyShow.com (http://thebaileyshow.com).
Prior to his arrival in Sacramento, Bailey spent seven years in mornings at Cumulus Media?s ?Rock 100.5? WNNX Atlanta from 2014 to 2021 preceded bt a year in mornings at Sports ?92.9 The Game? WZGC Atlanta. He began his career in Florida under the name ?Buckethead? with stints at ?98 Rock? WXTB Tampa, and the Orlando duo of Rock 101.1 WJRR and Hot Talk ?Real Radio 104.1? WTKS-FM, the latter of which he hosted middays from 2008 to 2013. NickyD was an intern and later producer and call screener for the ?Bailey and Southside? morning show at WNNX before following him to Sacramento. Nelson previously hosted mornings Alternative ?89.7 The River? KIWR Omaha and spent ten years in mornings at Country ?Froggy 98.1? KFGE Lincoln NE.
