RoyalTea joins WQOK from weekends at Radio One’s “102.5 The Block (https://theblockcharlotte.com)” 610 WFNZ/W273DA Charlotte. She has been with the company since November 2021 working as a promotions assistant and digital content writer before adding on-air duties last summer. She has also been on-air at East Carolina University’s 91.3 WZMB (http://www.piratemedia1.com/wzmb913fm/) Greenville NC.
RoyalTea succeeds Alex ‘Ayeeedubb’ Wurst in the midday shift at WQOK. She had been in the daypart since August 2020 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/196209/ayeedubb-joins-k97-5-raleigh-as-music-director-midday-host/) and also served as Music Director. No word yet on her status in the company.
