Total Media COO/Director of Radio Operations and Program Director JJ Hale says, “I am excited to be bringing a fresh, new, legendary sound to Pike and Ross County. I feel like Waverly and Chillicothe is ready for a really good local radio station to make their own and embrace. I am super proud of this latest station rebuild and cannot wait to share it with the Scioto Valley on Monday.”
Total Media closed on its $750,000 purchase (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/254153/jackson-county-broadcasting-acquires-chillicothe-trio/) of WXIZ along with Southern Gospel 660 WXIC (http://www.am660wxic.com)/95.9 W240DZ Waverly and Piketon Communications? CHR ?Q100 (http://www.q100radio.com)? 100.1 WXZQ Piketon from companies held by Gerald Davis last October.
